Aunt Chiladas - Busser

Summary of Position:

The Busperson is responsible for clearing and resetting tables, stocking and replenishing service stations as well as assisting service staff in serving of guests to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Bring initial water, chips, salsa and hot sauce to guests.

• Rapidly clean tables and reset for next seating.

• Set up restaurant and service stations according to particular shifts.

• Assist with food servers in clearing plates, refilling beverages and table maintenance.

• Keep service station well stocked for own shift and for fellow staff.

• Cooperate with hostess in arranging for reservations and accommodate guests that are waiting for a table.

• Clean up and put away all equipment in the service stations.

• Other supportive functions as determined by the supervisor.


Qualifications:

Education: N/A


Experience: prior hospitality experience preferred.


Certificates or Licenses: Maricopa County Food Service Worker card.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


• Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.

• Ability to listen well and develop a good rapport with food servers.

• Ability to move through a crowded dining room with large trays.

• Ability to memorize and perform Resort Standards, AAA Diamond standards, and Mystery shopper standards.

Personal Characteristics:


• Behaves ethically.

• Ability to speak, listen, read, and write effectively in English to communicate clearly and professionally with associates and guests.

• Professional Appearance: Exhibits an appearance appropriate for a four diamond resort (Specific grooming standards are available for review).
