Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$2774.40/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and collaborative teamwork. This role involves managing complex patients with critical needs and supporting ongoing recovery. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments accurately, including vasoactive drips. Utilize advanced assessment skills and critical thinking to respond to patient changes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and discharge plans. Document patient progress and interventions accurately in Meditech system. Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements. Qualifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units. Demonstrate advanced assessment and critical thinking skills. Experience managing vasoactive infusions and complex patient conditions. Possess strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude. CPR, Trauma, and Stroke certifications preferred.
