We are seeking a Catalyst Business Analyst, to facilitate and administer programs or functions under minimal supervision. The Catalyst program identifies strong candidates for translational projects inside the Stanford Medicine clinical areas to validate and de-risk medical innovations. The Business Analyst (BA) role is a critical part of this mission. This person will review candidate projects. After project selection, the BA may continue to assist a project's development. Ideal candidates will have a passion for healthcare, the pulse of the healthcare startup community, and know how to talk to, and interface with, brilliant entrepreneurs. **Duties include*:** + The Business Analyst (BA) will assist in execution of the Catalyst Evaluation process for projects seeking entry into the Catalyst program. Due Diligence includes: Market Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Business Plan Review, IT and Data Analysis, alignment with Stanford, SWOT analysis. + BA will participate in assessing and providing recommendations to Stanford Medicine Catalyst Leaders for review and approval. + Facilitate the planning and operations for programs or functions that have significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges requiring subject matter expertise. + Evaluate programs or functions, policies and procedures. Identify issues, and develop alternative solutions which may include changes to programs, policies and procedures. + Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the goals of the program or function. + Represent the program or function within the department, unit or school. Commit resources and provide information and/or training.
