Scope of Position

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager who leads by example and actively participates in daily warehouse operations while overseeing personnel, inventory, logistics, and distribution activities. This is a working manager position that requires both strategic oversight and direct involvement in warehouse functions to ensure operational excellence, accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations: including shipping, receiving, inventory control, freight scheduling, order fulfillment, stockroom organization, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation: including carrier communications, freight quotes, claims management, shipment tracking, supplier relations, delivery scheduling, and resolving shipping discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and product quality: auditing inventory, processing returns and damages, verifying shipments against purchase orders, maintaining inventory systems, and monitoring stock levels.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment: enforcing safety regulations, conducting inspections, maintaining equipment and facilities, and implementing warehouse best practices and procedures.
• Lead and support warehouse staff: supervising daily activities, monitoring productivity, providing training, setting performance goals, coordinating with other departments, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required/preferred; Associate degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience required, including knowledge of shipping, receiving, packaging, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software preferred; SAP experience is a strong plus.
• Strong computer, communication, customer service, and phone skill
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Leadership candidates should have 5+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Must be able to perform physical warehouse duties, including frequent standing, moving, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
