Forklift Drivers Wanted in Southaven, MS

Surestaff is immediately hiring Forklift Drivers in Southaven, MS. As a Warehouse Associate for Surestaff, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving and inventory (picker/packer) quality assurance inventory control (RF scanners). Work productively and accurately to complete assigned pick tasks. Accurately read and match printed model numbers, unit quantities, and locations to pick orders. Demonstrate responsibility and compliance with all safety and quality policies and standards. Move to the work as needed in a cooperative and flowing team environment. A year experience is necessary, and qualified applicants can start immediately! This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation of $18.00 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st 7am or 8am to finish. Overtime is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Forklift Drivers:

• Safely operate an Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit Down Counterbalance, or powered pallet jack.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Load and unload pallets.
• Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner.
• Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
• Accurately read and match printed model numbers, unit quantities and locations to pick orders.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.

Required Qualifications for the Warehouse (Forklift Drivers):

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse position (including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory etc.) operating Reach Truck and Order Picker Lifts
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
