Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 / hour (Based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Carbon MIG Welder , you’ll be on the front lines of the production team, fabricating high-quality steel structures, cable tray systems, and custom industrial support setups.

• Lay Down Quality Beads: Perform high-quality MIG (GMAW) welding on carbon steel components following structural prints and shop specifications.
• Fit-Up & Fabrication: Read blueprints, measure, cut, position, and clamp metal components accurately before striking an arc.
• Inspect Your Craft: Ensure all welds meet visual quality standards, dimensional tolerances, and structural integrity.
• Safety First: Maintain a safe, clean workstation and follow shop safety protocols while operating shop equipment (grinders, saws, material handling tools).

What We’re Looking For

• MIG Welding Experience: 1–3+ years of solid experience with Carbon Steel MIG welding in a shop or manufacturing setting.
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read shop drawings, welding symbols, and measurements with precision.
• Quality Mindset: Pride in your work...clean welds, proper penetration, and minimal spatter.
• Reliability & Drive: A strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a team-first attitude.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical shop tasks comfortably.
