Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Activation and utilization of Rapid Response Teams
• Peripheral line care and management
• Administration of oxygen therapies including nasal cannula and face masks
• Non-invasive airway management
• Adhering to isolation precautions
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Valid NY RN license
• 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• BLS certification
• Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
• Experience with EPIC charting system
