Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, located at 42 Second Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 is a family-owned and operated manufacturing company that has been in business since 1945. We are currently seeking to add a member to our growing team.

The main responsibility will be to assist in reading plans to identify where we are specified. Create quotes and follow up with clients for status via phone, email, and in person.

Client Relationship/ Estimating

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare Quotes for clientele.
• Follow up with clientele via phone on the quote and project status.
• Visit local clientele when applicable.
• Track and document quote status in Salesforce
• Read and fully understand project drawings, and blueprints to locate where our product is called out for estimating purposes.
• Create take off’s / grille schedules to be utilized by the estimating department or to be prepared by this employee to create estimates.
• Experience with Auto-cad a plus
• Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to read blueprints and do take-offs required.
• Estimating the experience needed
• CAD software & PC usage
• Dodge experience is a plus but not required.
• Salesforce experience is a plus but not required.
• Sheet metal knowledge/experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to work with mathematical and structural concepts.
• Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
• Neat and organized.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve the intended objective.
