Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Skilled Nursing (MS SNF) nurse team leader position is located in the central United States. This role involves overseeing patient care responsibilities within a skilled nursing facility that accommodates residents with various medical needs. The position requires leadership, clinical expertise, and effective coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 1500 to 2330, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license verification, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and a minimum of 0 years of experience in medical-surgical or skilled nursing settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a leadership or team lead role within a skilled nursing or medical-surgical environment.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The team lead will be responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. Direct patient care responsibilities include assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patient condition. The role also involves advocating for patients, practicing ethically and professionally within their scope, and promoting evidence-based practices related to patient care. The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting or standing for extended periods, and physically operating necessary clinical equipment. Staffing ratios for this shift are 1 RN to 2 LPNs to 3-4 CNAs per 40 residents. An orientation period of 1 day on the assigned unit will be provided. Scrubs of any color are acceptable.
