It’s why we’re looking for someone who’s just as committed as we are, to push for genuine change and bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life.We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.What we can offer you:25 days of annual leaveAccess to our company pension schemeDiscounts on everything from groceries to well known retailersAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need toOne paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your communityOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potentialWhat you'll be doing:Assist the Service Delivery Manager to ensure that the daily checking of vehicles and any other assets are completed at the commencement and during each shift and that the appropriate forms/E-documents are correctly completed.Ensure all staff are given the appropriate worksheet, round/beat sheet and map relating to their specific daily tasks with any amendments or variations and that they fully understand these tasks.Ensure all staff have the correct level of tools and equipment in a serviceable condition to carry out their duties.Ensure that any accident involving any employee, vehicle or equipment is fully investigated and that all documentation is produced and presented to your Manager.Undertake daily contract monitoring surveys and assist with generating associated reports as necessary.Assist the Manager in ensuring that all vehicles, items of plant and equipment are cleansed at least weekly or as shown in the cleansing schedule.On completion of daily work, ensure that the workforce has been correctly signed off, all routes, maps, worksheets and log sheets are returned and duly completed and signed.Provide cover for the Manager as and when necessary.What we're looking for:Essential:Supervisory/management experience required.HGV Class 2 Driving Licence and CPC/Tacho CardExperience and understanding of Transport management or similar.Good It knowledge/skillsDesired:Previous waste management experiencePrevious experience within a similar role would be advantageous.What’s next?Apply today, so we can make a difference for generations to come.We're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
