Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit at a community hospital. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment within a licensed medical facility.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
  
• Monitor patient vital signs and utilize advanced skills including ACLS and BLS protocols.
  
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the Cerner system.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, unit-specific guidelines, and safety standards.
  
• Float to Emergency Department as needed to support department needs.
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold an active RN license valid in North Carolina.
  
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ICU or stepdown experience.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in ACLS, BLS, and inpatient nursing procedures.
  
• Show strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
• Be adaptable to flexible scheduling, including night shifts.
