Position Overview

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining each step with a caring touch
• Work in harmony with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality and accurate diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Keep thorough documentation of procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technologies and best practices in the field

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
