Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality patient care to surgical and medical patients in a busy hospital setting. Ensure accurate assessment, planning, and delivery of nursing interventions to support patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes in condition.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings thoroughly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including float responsibilities and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license (active or pending with verification).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Demonstrated ability to float between units as needed.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
