Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Perform respiratory therapy assessments and interventions for diverse patient populations.
Establish patient ventilator settings using advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, and time relationships.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
Utilize EMR systems such as Meditech for accurate patient record maintenance.
Provide emergency interventions and support in life-threatening situations.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care.
RRT Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Current NY State license required.
BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and PALS certifications preferred.
Knowledge of acid/base and electrolyte relationships.
Experience in using Meditech EMR.
