Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week assignment working 36 hours per week. The role involves providing quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, with some on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients in the ER setting.
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize treatment needs.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond to call shifts, including 24-hour on-call coverage as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license.
• Previous experience as a traveler or in a similar ER setting strongly preferred.
• Proficient in using Meditech 6.0 EMR system.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle high-acuity patient care.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
