Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to accurately assess the needs of children and adolescents, including diagnostic interviews and standardized assessments. \n
- Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that integrate the developmental perspectives of each child, their unique backgrounds, and family dynamics. \n
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to deliver impactful therapy sessions tailored to each patient. \n
- Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to foster a supportive and conducive environment for their children’s growth. \n
- Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists, school staff, and community organizations to deliver coordinated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of each patient. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support when children and adolescents face mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses. \n
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources that can aid in their recovery journey. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n
- Engage actively in professional development opportunities, including team meetings and case discussions, to remain abreast of current best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry. \n
Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will work to empower young individuals to develop coping strategies and resilience through personalized treatment approaches while actively engaging their families in the therapeutic process.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psychologist within California. \n
- A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders, demonstrated through both educational and practical experiences. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills aimed at building trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using technology for clinical documentation and communication. \n

- At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, specifically working with children and adolescents. \n
- Experience implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of young clients. \n
- Background in family therapy and collaboration with other mental health professionals is highly advantageous. \n
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and education.
