Shipping and Receiving Technician I - Clinton, NY Craft Clinton, NY, US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 2116 JOB SUMMARY: The Shipping and Receiving Technician I is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving receiving, warehousing, material handling and shipping, of materials in accordance with customer specifications, company requirements and shipping and receiving regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

Ship product according to customer specifications and company requirements Verify accuracy of item count and product details Prepare product for shipping Operate equipment to package, label and move shipping material Follow all safety rules, regulations and procedures Uphold the standards necessary to maintain our business certifications and to maintain good quality standards and practices associated with them Recognize and refer discrepancies to supervisory personnel before proceeding Monitor and re-stock shipping supplies Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Obtain and maintain certifications as required Attend training as required, including when applicable, training for handling and shipment of hazardous products Identify and solve potential problems with customer ordersCoordinate with other departments to ensure timely shipment Assist other departments as assigned Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma preferred or general education degree (GED) and 1 year of manufacturing related experience required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Possess basic computer data entry skills and basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word Ability to perform math calculations Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Ability to communicate effectively and to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure Ability to develop an understanding of Indium Corporation products Competent on Shipping and Receiving Technician I responsibilities

SHIFT/SITE:

Monday-Friday/ 1st shift: 8:00am-4:30pm/ 34 Robinson Rd., Clinton, NY

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
