Pay: Starting at $20+/hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

As a MIG Welder/Fitter, you'll be an essential part of a team that fabricates high-quality carbon steel components. You'll work closely with supervisors and fellow fabricators to produce top-notch work that meets all specifications and safety standards.


What You'll Do


As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Welding and fabricating carbon steel parts according to blueprints and work orders
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and guidelines
• Fitting and assembling metal components with precision
• Setting up and adjusting welding and plasma cutting equipment
• Using grinders, drills, sanders, and other tools effectively
• Inspecting welds and completed work for quality assurance
• Following safety procedures and completing necessary documentation
• Working efficiently to meet production goals


What You'll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Experience in MIG welding with carbon steel
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders
• Familiarity with plasma cutters and hand/power tools
• Willingness to pass a welding test to verify skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
