Construction Waste Sales Representative
Waste Connections is seeking a Construction Waste Sales Representative to grow our transportation and disposal services for construction clients. In this field-focused role, you will prospect general contractors, builders, and industrial customers; develop proposals; and close contracts for roll-off, hauling, and disposal solutions. You'll manage a local territory, nurture key accounts, coordinate with operations to ensure safe, on-time service, and track results in CRM. Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify construction and industrial customers for waste hauling and disposal services
- Develop and deliver proposals, bids, and pricing for roll-off and transportation solutions
- Negotiate contracts and close new business to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Manage and grow a local sales territory and existing customer accounts
- Partner with operations to ensure safe, timely, and reliable service execution
- Track activities, pipeline, and results using CRM and reporting tools
- Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and recommend service solutions
- Maintain strong knowledge of company services, pricing, and competitive landscape
- Promote Waste Connections' safety and environmental stewardship values in all customer interactions
- Participate in community and industry events to build brand presence and relationships
