Demand Planning Transformation Manager (S&OP | Forecasting | Supply Chain Planning) Location: Princeton, New Jersey (Hybrid – Onsite Required 2–3 Days/Week) 6+ Month Contract We are seeking a Demand Planning Transformation Manager to lead the design and implementation of a best‑in‑class demand planning and forecasting capability for a North America supply chain organization. This is a hands‑on transformation role (not a day‑to‑day planner role) focused on elevating planning maturity—building the frameworks, analytics, governance, tools, and processes that enable a modern, data‑driven S&OP and demand management function. You will partner closely with the Regional Demand Planning leadership team, where execution sits, while this role drives process design, capability development, forecasting excellence, and planning transformation strategy. This role is best suited for a local Delaware / Philadelphia metro area candidate with deep demand planning transformation experience who has led improvements in forecasting systems, S&OP processes, and supply chain analytics in a complex environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the Demand Planning Transformation roadmap and maturity model for forecasting and S&OP processes Design and standardize forecasting governance, policies, and planning best practices Improve forecast accuracy, bias, and variability through structured root‑cause analysis and corrective action frameworks Develop and maintain planning KPIs, dashboards, and advanced analytics to improve visibility and decision‑making Drive adoption of statistical forecasting methods and advanced planning tools (including AI/ML‑enabled forecasting where applicable) Enhance Demand Review and S&OP processes, including scenario modeling and executive reporting Build training materials, capability frameworks, and change management programs to upskill planning teams Partner cross‑functionally with Commercial, Supply Planning, Operations, Finance, IT, Product, and Customer Service Required Qualifications 5–10+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, S&OP, or Supply Chain Planning (must be recent and hands‑on) Experience building or improving planning dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools) Proven experience leading planning process improvement or transformation initiatives (not only execution planning) Strong experience analyzing forecast accuracy, demand signals, and planning performance metrics Advanced analytical capability (Excel + data‑driven decision‑making required) Exposure to ERP or planning systems (SAP IBP, APO, or equivalent strongly preferred) Strong communication and influencing skills across cross‑functional teams Experience supporting or transforming S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) environments Exposure to multi‑site or North American supply chain networks Experience in manufacturing, distribution, CPG, life sciences, or industrial environments Familiarity with advanced forecasting methods or AI‑enabled planning tools Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr Placers Professional, a division of Placers
