Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Ruther Glen, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity as part of Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first team. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution location, including the building interior, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter. Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site requirements. Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
