Restorative RNCoordinates and oversees the restorative nursing program.Monday - FridayPay based on experience starting at $23.87ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify functional limitations and develop individualized restorative care plans.Create detailed restorative care plans based on patient needs, including specific goals, interventions, and progress monitoring methods.Implement restorative care activities such as range of motion exercises, ambulation training, positioning and transfer techniques, and ADL assistance.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all restorative care interventions, patient progress, and any complications.Makes rounds on all shifts, and provides feedback to staff.Oversees restraint appropriate, fall prevention and skin management programs and provides written report on a monthly basis.Performs application of splints, braces, cones, prosthetic devices and care of limbs including managing the surgical site, fitting and adjusting prosthetic limbs, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal rehabilitation.Prepares a written report of restorative program activities on a planned, systematic basis.Provides care and support to individuals experiencing urinary or fecal incontinence, including assessing needs, implementing appropriate management strategies like bladder training, providing hygiene assistance, fitting incontinence products, and educating patients and caregivers on best practices to maintain dignity and quality of life.Provides general nursing care such as positioning residents, lifting and turning residents, applying/utilizing special equipment, assisting in use of bedpan or commode and ambulating the residents.Regularly evaluate patient progress towards restorative goals, documenting changes in functional status and making necessary adjustments to care plans.Responds to residents' call light and other indicators for assistance promptly and courteously and follows through to meet residents' needs.Train and supervise CNAs on proper restorative care techniques, ensuring they follow established care plans.RequirementsADN (Required)BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire. - Sarah Bush Lincoln, Restorative Nurse w/i 1 year - Sarah Bush Lincoln, RN-Registered Nurse - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional RegulationCompensationEstimated Compensation Range$23.87 - $37.00Pay based on experience Sarah Bush Lincoln
