Production Control Manager
Greater Columbus Ohio area
A Global Automotive Supplier is looking for a Production Control Manager to join their team.
Position Summary
- Enforce company policies/business plan/budget targets.
- Supervise and ensure training for Administrators and ASM as needed.
- Ensure Associate Relations function/responsibilities are being carried out Timekeeping, discipline action, section meetings, etc.)
- Ensure proper department workload balancing
- Responsible for overall supply chain and forecasting/releasing methods/accuracy to suppliers.
- Responsible for overall inventory control activity (cycle counting, physical inventories, month end inventory levels, trouble shooting variances, etc.)
- Responsible for overall company QAD activity (overall system processes, auto ordering, etc.)
- Responsible for overall supplier delivery performance.
- Enforce PPC data maintenance of Design Change Database.
- Ensure timely support of new model and build out activity.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Able to meet strict deadlines while concurrently managing multiple tasks in an open environment.
- Must possess and be able to demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Self motivated with strong leadership and staff development skills.
- Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred or at least 5 years prior relevant experience in manufacturing industry working with ERP system
