Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Project Superintendent role based in Florence, AL. The Project Superintendent oversees daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and field staff, managing site logistics, enforcing safety protocols, and monitoring progress against project plans and budgets. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting inspections, resolving field issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The Project Superintendent also serves as a key point of contact for project managers, clients, and inspectors, supporting strong communication and professional representation of PROS General Contracting. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills, including leading field teams and coordinating subcontractors. Experience in commercial construction, including ground‑up builds, renovations, and industrial projects. Quality control skills to review work, verify compliance with plans and specifications, and ensure workmanship standards. Construction safety knowledge, including OSHA awareness, jobsite safety enforcement, and incident prevention. Budgeting and cost awareness skills to help manage resources, track project expenses, and support schedule and financial goals. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, ability to read and interpret construction drawings, and proficiency with basic project‑management and reporting tools. Several years of on‑site construction supervision experience are preferred; experience with epoxy flooring or industrial facilities is a plus.
