Fun atmosphere, excellent benefits, and career opportunity!Job Title: PorterDepartment: Food & Beverage - Club Status: Seasonal FTReporting To: Executive ChefKey Responsibilities:Scrape, rinse, and load all back-of-house and front-of-house dishes and utensils into dish machine, as needed at Bower LodgeWash, sanitize, unload and organize all pans, utensils, and dishesBe vigilant about cast iron equipment and NOT run them through the machineClean, sanitize, and maintain dish machineEmpty trash containers of the kitchen space as neededMaintain a clean work area and kitchen & front area by sweeping and mopping as neededPerform additional cleaning duties as requested by ChefAdhere to Powder Mountain's Policy and ProceduresHelp maintain janitorial stock listsHave awareness and discretion of guests, be politeBreaking down and deep cleaning of kitchen spacesOccasionally assist in the Commissary Kitchen and perform their shift duties when neededVery punctualBreak down boxes to make space in the dumpsterRequirements and/or Qualifications:Age 16+Minimal experience requiredFood handlers permit through Weber County Health DepartmentKnowledge of kitchen terminology (behind, corner, hot) to notify your peers of your presenceAbility to learn and grow which will enable you to anticipate your peer's needsNon slip shoes required in all kitchensAble to work in a fast-paced environmentReliable Transportation preferred. Must be able to drive in adverse weather or use UTA.Clean and tidy appearance/ wear a uniform.Be a team player, have a "can do" attitude, be willing to learn.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 60+ lbs.
