The successful Mammography Technologist is a “super user” on JR X-Ray and Mammography equipment and demonstrates competency in Mammography examinations and patient care. Desired Professional Skills and Experience Connecticut State Radiologic License – required ARRT Certification – required CPR (BLS) Certification – required ARRT Mammography certification – preferred. Candidates without the certification will be expected to obtain it within 12 months from date of hire or 6 months from becoming board eligible. Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field and experience and training in Bone Densitometry – preferred. Experience with radiology information systems – preferred. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Pay range for this position is $37.00 - $49.50.
