Overview Encino Hospital Medical Center is a 150‑bed state‑of‑the‑art hospital located in Encino, California. Its multi‑disciplinary staff includes 330 physicians and 520 professional support staff, serving a diverse population with urgent and outpatient services. Responsibilities The PACU RN reports directly to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services, and indirectly to the House Supervisor. Responsibilities include: Delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all PACU patients. Coordinating post‑operative care with surgeons and anesthesiologists. Communicating changes in patient status to physicians and other departments. Maintaining unit standards of care, efficient patient flow, and organizational upkeep. Ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and hospital policies. Participating in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in‑services. Providing resources and guidance to other personnel as appropriate. Qualifications Education, experience, and training required or preferred: Current and valid state RN license. Current BLS (AHA) certificate on hire and for maintenance. ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days on hire and for maintenance. PALS (AHA) certificate preferred. Previous critical care or PACU experience or minimum one year on the job training. Critical Care RN (CCRN) preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Pay Transparency Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package tailored to individual needs.
