Professional Caregivers Needed near Studio City, Flexible Schedules Available

Caregiver Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services of Studio City. The Caregiver provides assistance and support to our clients in their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being. Our clients live in the following area: Studio City, Burbank, Valley Village, North Hollywood and surrounding areas.

• $150 for every caregiver you refer who we hire and who completes 100 hours of work
• Millage reimbursement is available when using your own car to transport clients or do grocery shopping/picking up medication for clients

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care (diaper changing) and dressing
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictions
• Provide light housekeeping
• Assisting with mobility and transferring clients
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients
• Engaging in conversation and providing companionship to clients
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
• Some clients require that caregivers go grocery shopping, pick up medication at the pharmacy or accompany seniors to their medical appointments

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Caregiver/Home Care Aid for at least one year
• Two references required
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results
• Able to complete in-person orientation and online initial and annual caregiver training
