Job Description

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will:

• Manage and expand existing customer relationships across your assigned territory.
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with industrial end users.
• Conduct technical product demonstrations and deliver application-based sales presentations.
• Provide consultative support to customers by understanding operational challenges and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Partner closely with distribution channels to increase product adoption and market penetration.
• Develop territory growth strategies and identify high-potential target accounts.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using customer relationship management systems.
• Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
• Deliver regular territory updates, forecasts, and market intelligence.
• Support customers with technical product knowledge and application guidance.
• Drive revenue growth through both customer acquisition and account expansion.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Technical Sales Representative will have:

• Experience selling industrial electrical, connectivity, tooling, power distribution, automation, or related technical products.
• A proven track record of generating new business and consistently achieving sales targets.
• Experience working with industrial end users, contractors, OEMs, distributors, or channel partners.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer applications and recommend technical solutions.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• A hunter mentality with a passion for business development and territory growth.
• The ability to work independently within a remote field sales environment.
• Strong organisational skills and experience managing opportunities through a CRM platform.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

Compensation

• Base salary: $100,000 - $130,000
• Target annual bonus: $25,000
