Overview Cognito Systems, a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture, is seeking PRN (Backfill) Athletic Trainer to work at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, Hawaii. This would be to cover scheduled leave working M-f 40/hours per week. The lives of our nation’s active-duty military depend on outstanding healthcare. As a civilian contractor working for Cognito Systems, you will serve as an Athletic Trainer, contributing to the mission of the United States Marine Corps’ Sports Medicine Injury Prevention (SMIP) Program. Your expertise will play a vital role in optimizing soldier performance and readiness. Type of Work : PRN (Backfill) M-F, 40/hours per week Location : Marine Corps Base Hawaii - Kaneohe, Hawaii Minimum Requirements Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or similar degree Education : Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).Passing score from the BOC for the Athletic Trainer. National Provider Identifier (NPI). Certification :Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, theDistrictofColumbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands to provide health care within thescope of practice for Athletic Trainersper state practice acts. Experience: Five years of relevant Athletic Trainingwork experience.Experience working with active populations (e.g.military, high school,collegiate, professional sports, performing arts, occupational health). Citizenship :U.S.Citizenship. Credentialing :Ability to pass background check and drug screen.Current physical and immunizations. Physical: Possess and maintain the ability to lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 20 kilograms/45lbs. Job Site Requirements :You must be on the premises to perform the job.
