More information at: Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product and process quality through the implementation and maintenance of the AS9100 Quality Management System. This role supports compliance activities, leads internal and external audits, investigates quality issues by analyzing information and data, drives corrective and preventive actions, and partners with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.Your MissionAdministers and maintains the AS9100 Quality Management System, leads internal and external audits, and drives corrective actions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Implement data collection techniques to monitor all manufacturing processes to identify causes of defects before they become trendsWorks with engineering to improve the quality of existing production processesDetermines quality improvement parameters by utilizing statical methods relevant to the manufacturing processAnalyzes quality data, prepares reports, and recommends corrective actions, process improvements, and hardware dispositionCreates Non-Conformance Reports for all defects found on flight hardwareUtilize various failure investigation techniques, 8D/5-Why/Fishbone, to determine root causes of failuresWorks with engineering to determine disposition of defectsWork with suppliers directly to create corrective action plans to address process failures and defectsPoint of Contact for customer quality related issuesPrepare and present all customer documentation and delivery paperworkApproves rework, repairs or finished product by confirming specifications, conducing visual and measurement test using calipers, gauges or micrometersYour Story Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience AS9100 QMS ManagmentFamiliar with working close to production environmentKnowledge of failure investigation techniques, 8D/5-Why/Fishbone, to determine root causes of failuresFamiliar with working close to production environmentExperience working with SAP, preferredExperience working with space flight hardware, preferredPC skills in MS office, with Word, Excel, Powerpoint formats, preferredCapable to support manufacturing process with background know how of machine shop production, preferredSolution driven, willing to make a difference, and customer-orientationPassionate and co-operative performer who puts success of team firstGood organizational and co-ordination skillsGood communication and teamwork ability ðAre you ready for lift-off?​Our core values - Passionate, Together, and Curious - transform challenges into opportunities.
