Description of Work

The Time/Leave Manager oversees the administration, accuracy, and compliance of employee timekeeping and leave-management processes. This role ensures employees’ time, attendance, and leave records are maintained correctly and in accordance with company policy and legal regulations. The Time/Leave Manager works closely with HR, payroll, and department leaders to support employees and resolve issues related to time reporting and leave.

Recruitment Range: $55,221 - $96,639

• Working to considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources management. Knowledge of the interpretation and application of federal laws and State HR laws, policies and practices governing HR.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to express ideas clearly and concisely; to exercise good judgment in analyzing situations and making recommendations and/or decisions within delegated level of authority.

Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours

About the DHHS Division of Human Resources :
The DHHS Division of Human Resources is responsible for strategic and tactical human capital management within DHHS including compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations affecting employee relations, recruitment/selection, job evaluation, salary administration, benefits, workers compensation, safety, and core staff development.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and 2 years of experience required; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
