RN - PACU

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. The nurse ensures that quality care is provided efficiently and safely, in alignment with the unit's standards of care. Responsibilities Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs. Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention. Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established time frames. Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on fact interpretation and patient outcome evaluations, modifying the care plan as needed. Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning. Document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs and evaluate the plan of care. Perform various Point of Care testing procedures. Utilize effective communication strategies and delegate unit work assignments appropriately. Coordinate team assignments and follow up on delegated patient care tasks for quality and completeness. Promote a positive work environment and participate in the orientation of new staff/students. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification from AHA required. ACLS Certification from AHA required. PALS Certification from AHA required. Why ARMStaffing?
