Pump MechanicLocation: USA:LA:Shreveveport | Shop & Field Service Support | Full-TimeSummary: The Mechanic will repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment either in-house or in the field.Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:Assemble Centrifugal PumpsBalance Impellers and Complete Rotating AssembliesSet Bearing Clearances and Final End PlayDetermine and Set Oil LevelsUse Overhead Crane, Forklift and ManliftInspect TIR of components when requiredQualifications of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:Previous experience working with API centrifugal pumps/rotating equipment is preferredBackground check, physical, and drug test requiredMust be self-motivated and able to work unsupervisedPhysical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Working Conditions: Shop environment Training/Certifications: N/A Shift Time/Overtime: Day shift, with regular overtime.
