Job Description

Step into a hands-on role where every blend matters

Join an innovative manufacturer as a Liquid Batch Compounder and help produce high-quality personal care and OTC products. If you enjoy precision, process, and seeing the results of your work at the end of each shift, this role is a great fit.

A day in the life
  • Start your shift by reviewing batch records and sequencing the steps for liquid fill lines.
  • Verify the accuracy of pre-weighed materials and ingredients before they hit the tank.
  • Carefully weigh and measure components; use agitators to blend liquids, solids, and powders to spec.
  • Audit batches using calibrated scales and thermometers to confirm measurements and temperatures are on target.
  • Safeguard product efficacy and purity through careful handling and adherence to procedures.
  • Keep the compounding area safe, clean, and orderly; operate forklifts responsibly to move raw materials and finished goods.
  • Interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals accurately.
  • Document your work with clear, routine reports and communicate effectively with your team.
  • Use basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals) to confirm formulas and yields.
  • Apply practical problem-solving to follow detailed directions and resolve standard issues.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
What you bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 months of compounding/blending experience or training required; 1–2 years in OTC/personal care bulk manufacturing preferred (process-focused manufacturing experience considered).
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, email, and basic inventory/manufacturing software.
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, twist, carry, grasp, and grip for extended periods.
  • Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test (must be clean-shaven at the time of testing).
  • Available for an in-person, on-site interview.
Shifts
  • 2nd Shift: Monday night – Friday night | 2:45 PM – 10:45 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Monday night – Friday night | 10:45 PM – 6:45 AM
Compensation & benefits
  • Pay rate: $20/hr.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • 401(k) with matching and profit sharing.
  • Direct hire.
