Our eProtein Discovery™ benchtop system accelerates protein expression and purification optimization in research labs.This opportunity is for a Production Technician to operate under the supervision of the Senior Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping lab equipment maintained and calibrated to be ready for production and upcoming research experiments. This individual will be a member of the operations team responsible for supporting the creation of novel chemical, mechanical, and electrical systems as well as testing and prototype construction.This role will suit an individual who has experience and drive working in a fast-paced biotech environment with a track record of execution and teamwork.Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.Build and assemble manufacturing product using SOP's and work instructions.Perform shop order transactions on a computer as product is built.Clean and maintain lab equipmentMaintain lab by picking-up, cleaning and organizingKeep laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receiptsKeep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance and scheduling repairsDocument information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record booksComplete projects by assisting the project team and attending and participating in group and project meetings.Essential Requirements:Minimum 2 year laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment or related industryMathematic and measurement skillsMust be able to perform basic functions on a computerCapable of prioritizing tasks to meet goals and ensure product qualityWilling to meet on-call obligations as neededAbility to keep detailed recordsExcellent attention to detailVerbal and written communication skillsExperience working with lab equipmentGood teamwork skillsDesirable:Associate degreeWhat We Offer:In addition to a competitive salary, Nuclera offers:Incentive stock optionsA comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insuranceShort- and long-term disability insurance401(k) retirement plan25-day annual holiday allowance
