Payroll & Benefits AdministratorAre you looking to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults and caregivers through the work you do?We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support our growing team in a part-time capacity. This role is responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration, and supporting compliance with California wage and hour laws and employment regulations across the employee lifecycle. Preference will be given to candidates with healthcare, home care, or other highly regulated industry experience, though industry experience is not required.This position will also support workers' compensation administration, leave of absence processes, HR policy development and updates, and other HR operational initiatives to help ensure compliance, consistency, and a positive employee experience. Experience supporting HRIS implementations or system transitions is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and support payroll administration, including timekeeping review, payroll changes, and payroll-related documentationAdminister employee benefits programs, enrollments, changes, and employee communicationSupport compliance with California wage and hour laws, employment regulations, and company policiesMaintain accurate employee records and oversee HR/payroll documentation processesPartner with leadership on employee relations matters and disciplinary documentationAssist with leave administration, onboarding, and other HR operational processesSupport audits, reporting, and special projects as neededIdentify opportunities to improve process efficiency and employee experienceQualificationsUpbeat personalityBachelor's Degree, preferredSHRM or HRCI certification, preferredStrong understanding of California wage and hour laws and employment practices preferredHealthcare or home care industry experience preferred, but not requiredSHRM or HRCI certification preferred5+ years of payroll, benefits, HR administration, or related experience preferred3+ years of industry experience preferredStrong computer skillsStrong organizational & communication skillsAbility to pass live scan fingerprint clearance (LIC 9163)Ability to secure proof of negative TB resultsBenefitsFun work environmentSupportive team and managementMedical Insurance (Anthem or Kaiser)Vision and dental benefits availableMatching 4% 401K PlanCompany bonus plan based on performanceCareer Advancement OpportunitiesWages: $40 plus an hour, depending on experience and industry knowledge.
