What this role is Ascend is a South Florida healthcare management company building the marketing and technology infrastructure that drives growth across a portfolio of home health and healthcare services. We are not looking for someone to post content and run a few ads. We are looking for someone to build a complete, integrated growth system and make it measurable from day one. You will work directly with our Director of Operations. You will learn how a real business acquires clients, converts leads, and builds digital authority, and you will build the systems that make each of those things happen. Everything you build stays in the business after you leave. What you will build The full client acquisition system in GoHighLevel pipelines, automations, routing logic, and nurture sequences for four client segments Five segment‑specific landing pages and the primary website are designed for conversion, not just presence Google and Facebook ad campaigns built, launched, tracked, and optimized weekly The lead capture and nurture system quiz, SMS capture, 7‑day email sequence, and retargeting audiences The full branded content suite lead magnet PDFs, service brochures, and the social content calendar What you bring CS, digital marketing, information systems, or related undergraduate major, ideally pre‑graduate school Working knowledge of at least one CRM, marketing automation, or web platform Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver without daily supervision Clear written communication, your reports are read by business leaders, not just developers Genuine interest in building systems that produce measurable business outcomes What you leave with A live, working marketing system built by you with real performance data attached to every component Demonstrated experience in CRM architecture, paid advertising, conversion optimization, and marketing automation The ability to explain a digital growth strategy in business terms, not just technical terms A professional reference from healthcare operations and business leadership An ongoing part‑time remote role About Ascend Ascend is a South Florida healthcare management company that drives growth, optimizes service delivery, and builds the operational and innovation systems across its portfolio of Medicare and Medicaid home health agencies, care management services, and healthcare training serving Miami‑Dade and Broward Counties. Position Overview Ascend is seeking a Systems & Growth Integration Specialist to design, build, and manage the digital marketing and technology infrastructure that drives client acquisition and brand authority across its managed service lines. This is a working role with direct exposure to growth strategy and operational decision‑making. The specialist will gain hands‑on experience in CRM architecture, conversion optimization, paid advertising, marketing automation, and content production, building real systems with real performance data. The specialist begins with a structured orientation to the Ascend management model, service categories, and client segments before building any system. This ensures that every technical and marketing decision is grounded in a clear understanding of the business the system is designed to serve. Key Responsibilities Build and configure the full client acquisition architecture in GoHighLevel pipelines, automations, routing logic, and nurture sequences across all four primary client segments Build five segment‑specific landing pages and optimize the primary web presence for conversion and mobile performance Build and launch Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns with full UTM and conversion tracking in place before the first dollar is spent Build the lead capture system, care quiz with routing logic, SMS capture with auto‑reply, and the 7‑day email nurture sequence Produce four branded lead magnet PDFs, a service brochure suite, and the social content calendar Submit weekly performance reports with specific optimization recommendations for every active campaign and system Document every system built with enough detail that it can be operated or modified by another team member without starting over Qualifications Required Current enrollment in a computer science, digital marketing, information systems, or related undergraduate program Working knowledge of at least one CRM, marketing automation, or web development platform Demonstrated ability to manage independent projects and deliver results on a consistent schedule Clear written and verbal communication reports are reviewed by business leadership, not technical staff Preferred Experience with GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or a comparable marketing automation and CRM platform Experience building or managing Google Ads or Facebook Ads campaigns Exposure to landing page design, UX, or web development Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Interest in healthcare, service business growth, or digital marketing strategy Compensation and Benefits $20.00 per hour, 10 to 20 hours per week Start date: May 2026 Hybrid schedule, Hollywood, FL; remote flexibility coordinated with supervisor Academic credit available upon coordination with the candidate’s institution Mentorship from experienced healthcare operations and growth leadership Ongoing part‑time remote continuation following the summer term Professional reference upon successful completion of the engagement Learning Outcomes Candidates who complete this engagement will have designed and launched a complete digital marketing and CRM system inside a real, growing organization.
