Physical Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve rehabilitation goals while ensuring compliance with all applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment while maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and responses accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed therapy activities and home exercise programs.
• Participate in team meetings, required training, and continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Medicare, state regulations, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or an equivalent internationally recognized program.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification in the applicable state.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or similar clinical setting.
• Strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
