Physician - Emergency Medicine

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an 84‑day assignment in WV, starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves managing a high volume of diverse emergency cases for all ages during 12‑hour shifts, requiring strong independent judgment and clinical skills due to limited immediate access to specialty teams or advanced diagnostic imaging. The successful physician will evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of medical presentations within an Emergency Department. Responsibilities and Duties Manage a high volume of diverse emergency cases for all ages. Evaluate and treat approximately 30 patients per day within an Emergency Department. Address a broad spectrum of medical presentations including chest pain, stroke evaluation, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, COPD, asthma, and basic pediatric complications. Provide care for orthopedic issues such as simple fractures and lacerations. Perform essential emergency procedures including intubations, central line placements, incisions and drainage, and chest tube placements. Exercise strong independent judgment and clinical skills in an environment with limited immediate access to specialty teams or advanced diagnostic imaging.
