Physical Therapist (PT)

The Willis Knighton Home Health department is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team of professionals. This PT will work in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and have the opportunity to work with a number of patient diagnoses. This department has seen rapid growth over the past year and the applicant must be interested in expanded resources and improved work processes. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in an exciting component of our patient's continuum of care. You will work independently with a distinguished group of therapy professionals. The skill set that we are seeking is one comprised of independence, self-motivation, excellent communication, and a drive to make a difference in your patient's health and outcome. Computer skills are a necessity as all documentation is electronic. Full-time employment requires a minimum of 30 home health visits a week, as well as being on a weekend coverage rotation. The chosen candidate must be a licensed PT in the state of Louisiana. The chosen candidate will attend a general hospital orientation, as well as a departmental orientation with an assigned mentor.
