EHS Manager

Join Our Client as an EHS Manager in Charlotte, NC a safety-first industry leader! We seek a certified EH&S pro with a degree & 3+ years' experience to independently lead safety compliance and emergency medical response.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Perform direct, continuous observation of active machinery and work practices to verify safety compliance on the floor during second shift.

• Identify unsafe conditions and utilize delegated stop-work authority to immediately remove hazards from service, making critical decisions independently.

• Serve as the sole on-site emergency responder, treating injuries within your scope of practice and independently coordinating external emergency services when required.

• Conduct scheduled safety inspections to audit standards, coordinate occupational health surveillance, and complete compliance documentation during quiet hours.

• Respond to on-site incidents to provide immediate medical care while objectively initiating and gathering evidence for root-cause investigations.
