Surface Integrity Deburr Inspector Why this role matters

• Execute wash and cleaning operations per specified equipment callouts and drawings/prints.
• Deburr and finish using scraping, grinding, filing, sanding, wire brushing, buffing wheels, and cloths.
• Polish and detail parts across materials: aluminum, stainless steel, copper, titanium, and various plastics.
• Perform visual and magnified inspections to verify finish quality.
• Maintain lot traceability and accurate records throughout the process.
• Partner with supervision and shop-floor planning to align priorities and deliver on time to secondary operations and customers.
• Follow health and safety policies; sustain an orderly, 5S-oriented workspace.
• Assist with packaging, 5S initiatives, and supplemental inspection as needed.

• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and clear verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and a drive for process improvement.
• Comfort working independently or collaboratively.

• High school equivalent and 2+ years hands-on finishing of precision mechanical components.
• Able to read and follow written/oral instructions; capable of simple written correspondence.
• Sound judgment to follow detailed procedures and address routine problems with common-sense solutions.
• Skilled with both hand and powered deburring/polishing tools; microscope and magnification proficiency.
• Able to recognize proper finishes and identify potential burrs quickly.
