Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse, inventory control, and material movement activities that ensure the timely and accurate flow of materials throughout Calyxo's operations. This role supports manufacturing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics activities while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with company quality standards. The Material Handler works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing teams to ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer fulfillment requirements. In This Role, You Will: Receiving & Inventory Management Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring shipments match purchase orders and packing documentation. Accurately identify, label, store, and organize materials within designated warehouse locations. Execute inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within company systems. Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy. Assist with inventory reconciliation activities and annual physical inventories. Production Support Pick, stage, and issue materials to support production schedules and manufacturing operations. Process material movements, transfers, and returns while maintaining traceability and transaction accuracy. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to resolve material shortages and inventory discrepancies. Shipping & Logistics Process domestic and international customer shipments in accordance with Calyxo shipping procedures. Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate shipments with carriers and transportation providers. Support material transfers between Calyxo locations and off-site warehouse facilities. Load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Warehouse Operations Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe manner. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety requirements. Ensure adequate levels of cleanroom and operational supplies are maintained and submit replenishment requests as needed. Assist with warehouse improvements, storage rack assembly, and continuous improvement projects. Support additional warehouse, inventory, and logistics activities as assigned. Who You Will Report To: Sr. Director, Supply Chain Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED 4+ years experience CA driver’s license and safe driving record Forklift certified Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials. Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software. Work location: Pleasanton, CA Work 8 a.m. – 5 pm, and occasional overtime and weekends. Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
