We serve the special needs population throughout the Central Connecticut Valley, utilizing a proprietary CBSE model to tailor each session to the specific needs, abilities, and goals of the individual.

• Design and implement customized fitness programs based on the specific neurological diagnosis, functional abilities, and personal goals of each client.
• Provide attentive, one-on-one adaptive personal training sessions to foster independence and physical strength.
• Lead engaging and effective small group classes at partner facilities in areas such as Cheshire, Meriden, Middlebury, and North Haven.
• Communicate proactively with clients and their families, ensuring program goals and progress are clearly understood.
• Conduct initial fitness assessment and re-assessments quarterly.
• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and safe training environment at all times.

• Current, accredited Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification (NCCA or NCCPT accredited) or OT, PT,AT or related field.
• Experience working with the special needs population is highly preferred.
• Strong passion for adaptive fitness and commitment to the Special Strong mission.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
