Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro IR

City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota

Shift: 40 Hour Variable, 4x10 Flex, 07:00-17:00

Contract Length: 89 weeks

Start Date: 06/22/2026

Job Description: Registered Nurse for the Neuro Interventional Radiology team, requiring ICU experience to function as a member of the Stroke Team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to neuro IR patients as a part of the Stroke Team.
• Manage endotracheal and tracheostomy patients, including ventilation.
• Administer vasoactive and sedation drips effectively.
• Ensure safe use of paralytics and manage arterial lines.
• Monitor and utilize external ventricular drains and pacemakers.
• Manage chest tubes, Swan/Cordis central line catheters, and arterial puncture sites.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing; must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• ICU experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required; Epic Cupid is preferred.
