Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: November 8, 2026

Location: Albany, New York

Schedule: 48 hours per week; shift details provided upon application

Highlights:

• Level I trauma center environment with diverse critical care patient populations
• Float pool role across multiple ICU settings including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• May include caring for ICU/PCC patients in ED and PACU settings awaiting bed placement
• Professional uniform requirement: navy blue scrubs
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience mandatory
• Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency and comfort level caring for critically ill patients across multiple ICU specialties
• Float pool or multi-unit ICU experience highly desired
• Local candidates from certain counties may not be eligible; please inquire for details
