Scott’s Fencing Co. is looking for a dependable Fence Installer to join our Albuquerque-area team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, using tools, and taking pride in seeing a project come together from start to finish.

Previous fencing experience is helpful, but it is not required. Construction, concrete, welding, landscaping, or other hands-on trade experience can be valuable. We are also interested in people who are dependable, physically capable, willing to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a crew.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare work areas and lay out fence lines
• Dig post holes and prepare concrete for fence posts
• Set and secure fence posts
• Install fencing materials and related components
• Use hand and power tools
• Load, carry, and position materials at job sites
• Follow direction from the crew Foreman
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Help the crew complete projects safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work a consistent 40-hour Monday-Friday schedule
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work throughout the day
• Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing 50+ pounds, including overhead lifting when required
• Comfort working with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a crew
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to travel out of town when project work requires it
• Good communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Previous experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Fence installation
• General construction
• Wood or vinyl fencing
• Welding or metal fabrication
• Concrete work
• Landscaping or other outdoor trades
