Family Worker (Social Work)

Valeo Resources has partnered with a community mental health organization that is constantly expanding! We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Family Worker to join the team in Chicago, IL! In this role, you will be working to provide supportive services in the areas of mental health, social services, family involvement, special needs and community partnerships to the surrounding communities.

Position: Family Worker (social work)

Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule: M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2) no weekends, no overnights

Responsibilities:

Communicate with parents
Process family intakes, assist parents with completing applications and redeterminations.
Coordinate parent meetings, workshops, committee meetings, and volunteer activities.
Act as a liaison between parents, Site Directors, and Executive Director.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.W.) in Social Work or a related field from an accredited college or university.
