Refrigeration Repair TechnicianLocation: San Leandro, CA - Various Bay Area locationsEmployment Type: Full-TimeReports To: Operations Manager / Service ManagerPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Repair Technician to join our service team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, deli cases, and merchandisers. The ideal candidate will also have experience leading small teams and will be a strong cultural fit, collaborative, dependable, and motivated.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and install commercial refrigeration systemsService refrigeration components for walk-in coolers, freezers, large scale refrigeration equipment, deli coolers, ice machines, and merchandisersPerform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as neededHelp manage small crews on job sites, ensuring quality and safety standardsAccurately document service work and communicate with dispatch and customersMaintain inventory and proper care of tools and company equipmentRepresent the company professionally with clients and internal teamsRequirements Qualifications:3–5+ years of hands-on refrigeration service and repair experienceUniversal EPA Certification requiredValid driver's license with clean driving recordStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsMentor and train junior techniciansExcellent communication and customer service skillsMust be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-orientedPreferred Experience:Familiarity with servicing fuel stations or convenience store refrigeration systems
